The Rental Search Tool makes it easy to keep track of promising listings and share them with participants.

Saving Favorites

Never lose track of a good listing again. The favorites feature lets you save listings for quick access.

How to Save a Listing

  1. Find a listing you want to remember
  2. Click the heart icon on the listing card
  3. A popup appears with your save lists
  4. Select which list to save it to
  5. The heart turns red to indicate it’s saved

Creating Lists

Organize your saves with custom lists:

  • Create new lists for different participants or search criteria
  • Example: “Smith Family - 2BR options” or “Pet-friendly units”

Accessing Your Saved Listings

To view your saved favorites:

  1. Click Favorites in the main navigation
  2. You’ll see all your saved lists
  3. Click a list to view the listings in it

Removing a Saved Listing

To remove a listing from your favorites:

  1. Click the red heart on a saved listing
  2. Uncheck the list(s) you want to remove it from

Note: Your favorites are stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser data or use a different device, you’ll need to re-save your favorites.

Sharing Listings with Participants

There are several ways to share rental information with your participants.

Option 1: Share the Listing URL

Each listing has a unique URL you can share:

  1. Open the listing detail page
  2. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar
  3. Send via email, text message, or messaging app

Option 2: Print or Save as PDF

For participants who prefer paper:

  1. Open the listing detail page
  2. Use your browser’s print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P)
  3. Choose “Save as PDF” or print directly

Option 3: Screenshot Key Information

For quick mobile sharing:

  1. Open the listing on your phone
  2. Take a screenshot of the key details
  3. Send via text message

Tips for Staying Organized

Use Descriptive List Names

Instead of “List 1”, use names like:

  • “Jones Family - 3BR needed by March”
  • “Accessible units - downtown area”

Review Regularly

Check saved listings periodically — they may no longer be available.
